You defintely get the idea about the graphic part! But I won't be discouraged by it ... I promise ^_^
At the moment I'm reading Kinoshita Keiko works I'm desperate because I can't find the end of the last volume of Ikusen no Yoru translated in english ... the series of the Thousand Nights.
If you'd like to read something the last four Ian Rankin books are what I suggest:

"the impossible dead" (Malcom Fox novel)
"Standing in another man's grave" (Rebus - Malcom Fox cameo)
and in the end the one I'm reading now
"Saints of the shadow Bible" (Rebus and Malcom Fox)
